    Description

    Do you enjoy exercising and teaching others to live healthier lives? Volunteer to lead a yoga class for seniors living at Linda Glen Apartment in Piedmont! We are looking for a volunteer to teach once a week on Tuesday afternoons.

    Through leading a yoga class, you will help to give seniors an outlet for physical and spiritual activity and help them to enrich their overall wellness. The volunteer will prepare an agenda for each class and lead residents through various exercises while providing positive feedback and support. If you're looking to make a difference in your community, this is a wonderful opportunity to gain teaching experience with students who are eager to learn.

    Requirements: Ongoing SAHA Community Volunteers must commit to volunteer once a week for a minimum of 4 months, and must complete a volunteer orientation, volunteer forms and background screening prior to beginning their placement.
