    A few hours per month
    Commitment Details:
    Customizable on-call three 4-hour shifts per month which you schedule. If nothing happens during your window of availability, go about your normal day.  But if there is an event, the expectation is you can put aside what you are doing to respond.

    Description

    Local disasters, such as home fires, can turn a family's world upside down in an instant. Sometimes, it’s your own neighbors who are affected.

    When you join a Red Cross Disaster Action Team (DAT), you’re stepping up to offer immediate care, comfort, and hope. You’ll help make sure people have a safe place to stay, food, and clothing -r ight when they need it most.

    You don’t need experience. Just compassion. We provide all the training (free) and you respond only when it fits your schedule.
