Adopt a Homeless Animal Rescue (AAHA) is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our supportive team as Foster Coordinators. This vital role ensures the well-being and placement of our rescue dogs into loving foster homes. By helping to coordinate foster care, you will play a crucial part in providing our rescue dogs with the care and stability they need while they await their forever homes and in saving their lives!
Responsibilities:
* Recruitment and Screening: Identify, recruit, and screen potential foster families. Conduct interviews and virtual home visits to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for our rescue dogs.
* Placement Coordination: Match dogs with suitable foster and adoptive families based on the dogs’ needs and the families’ preferences and capabilities.
* Support and Communication: Provide ongoing support and guidance to foster families. Maintain regular communication to address any concerns, provide resources, and ensure the well-being of the foster dogs.
* Training and Resources: Provide educational materials and resources to help foster families care for their animals effectively.
Qualifications:
* Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to saving dogs.
* Strong organizational and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
