    Description

Join the Senior Medicare Patrol and Empower Seniors

Help educate seniors in your community about scams and ways to protect themselves by becoming a part of the Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP).

    Volunteer Training and Resources

SMP volunteers receive training on the fundamentals of Medicare fraud and other healthcare-related scams to deliver brief presentations to senior groups in their local area. We provide all necessary materials for these presentations, including scripts to guide you. Additionally, volunteers receive resources for community events, such as health fairs and resource fairs, to raise awareness about the SMP program.

    Flexible Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteering with SMP is flexible and based on your availability. Since our presentations and events typically take place during business hours from Monday to Friday, it's an ideal opportunity for retirees to give back. Couples can also collaborate and volunteer together.

The Senior Medicare Patrol is a federal grant program managed by the Administration for Community Living (ACL). In Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Vermont, SMP is sponsored by AdviseWell, Inc., with corporate offices located in New Orleans, LA.
