    Description

    Location: Kent, WA 98031

    Participant Age: 78 years old

Are you someone who enjoys heartfelt conversations and making a difference in someone’s day? A lovely 78-year-old woman in Kent is seeking a kind and compassionate volunteer to spend time with her.

She lives in a care home and experiences memory challenges due to dementia. While she may not always be oriented to time or people, she is deeply aware of her loneliness and longs for meaningful social interaction.

    What She Needs:

    • A friendly visitor to sit with her
    • Someone to chat, share stories, or simply be present
    • A warm heart to brighten her day

    Why It Matters:

She often feels sad when she doesn’t have visitors like others in her home. Your presence could bring comfort, companionship, and a sense of connection that she truly cherishes.

    Ideal Volunteer:

    • Patient and empathetic
    • Comfortable engaging with someone who has memory loss
    • Available for regular visits (even once a week can make a big difference!)

    Interested?
