Join us in making a Difference in our Community! We are on the lookout for dedicated volunteers, and we extend a warm invitation to you to join our ALL-VOLUNTEER organization. Currently, we need enthusiastic Neighborhood Coordinators.
What's the Role of a Neighborhood Coordinator? As a Neighborhood Coordinator, you will be entrusted with a specific and established neighborhood of Green Bag Food Donors. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our collection events, which take place six times a year, always on the second Saturday of every even month.
What's Involved? Sending reminders to your donors in prepration of our pick up days. On collection days, pick up green bags filled with non-perishable food from your generous neighbors and deliver the collected items to our central collection site.
Impactful Outreach: The repacked food goes directly to supporting twelve local pantries in Jackson County, ensuring no one in our community goes hungry.
For Everyone! This opportunity is perfect for families, working professionals, and retirees. It takes about one hour a month on average.
