Optometrists or Ophthalmologists volunteers needed for clinic and mobile clinic

Non-profit healthcare clinic providing primary care to the uninsured and under-insured is in need of a volunteer Optometrist to provide free eye exams to patients during specifically scheduled events. Our clinic works with a non-profit eye organization who provides the technicians, exam equipment, eye glasses, contacts and supplies to assist in providing low cost and free eye care to those who are in need. Volunteer opportunities are flexible with the volunteer's schedule and can be in the clinic or utilizing the mobile medical unit. Upcoming events include free eye exams/glasses for children at the Boys and Girls Club and free eye exams and low-cost glasses for diabetic patients in need. Shifts are typically 4 hours and possibly once per month based on volunteer's availability.
