Bethesda Community Clinic has a fully-equipped mobile medical unit and we are expanding into the North Georgia area. We provide FREE healthcare from our mobile unit to the uninsured and underserved. We have been serving in Cherokee County and the surrounding area providing care to more than 1,200 patients in 2021. The need for healthcare continues to grow and we have decided to reach into other areas needing help.
We need ALL TYPES of medical staffing to provide care to the uninsured in Gilmer County. This includes nurses, medical assistants, EMTs, phlebotomists, and even students! We will train you!
Currently, we are serving once per month, but look to expand to once per week by the end of the year. Our clinic provides primary care, acute care, medication management, women's exams, pediatric care, labs, and health/wellness education. We will have both in-person and virtual opportunities to serve those in need.
The Georgia Volunteer Health Care Providers (GVHCP) program provides sovereign immunity for malpractice coverage for licensed health care workers in Georgia. More information will be provided.
Please join us as we provide free healthcare to the most vulnerable in North Georgia.
