OHS Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies and marketing communications for Ohlone Humane Society. The marketing manager oversees the development and implementation of support materials and services, as well as coordinates the efforts of marketing, public relations coordinator, program managers and other OHS staff.
Duties
Oversees the Marketing Team
- Builds brand recognition for OHS and services in the Tri-City community and beyond.
- Engages compassionate people, groups and corporations to support OHS through participation or donation.
- Delivers relevant and compelling humane messaging through our communication platforms.
- Our team currently includes an email newsletter manager and a crew of social media posters.
Coordinates with Other OHS Programs
- Manages and coordinates events with the other team members.
- Be responsible for event outreach, expense planning and tracking, overseeing the volunteers coordinating the event booth signage, literature, giveaways and other materials appropriate for each event/audience.
- Work closely with the Fundraising/Grants program including support for their events and outreach.
- Work with each program to refresh their messaging on the website, volunteer recruitment portals, and address their marketing needs.
- Create inexpensive marketing ideas and solutions for our small nonprofit, as well as have fun and make sure our fellow volunteers are also having a great time!
