Social Media & Storytelling Volunteer

We’re looking for a creative and passionate Social Media & Storytelling Volunteer to help share the heart of our mission and expand our impact. Your voice will help tell the powerful stories behind our work — from food distributions to housing opportunities and life-changing resources for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Attend CHFSI events to capture engaging photos and videos
• Create and post content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter
• Interact with our audience, respond to comments/messages, and grow our online community
• Highlight stories of seniors whose lives are impacted by our food programs, housing support, and resources
• Help spread the word about our mission and attract new supporters & volunteers

Ideal Volunteer

• Passionate about storytelling, seniors, and social impact
• Familiar with social media trends and comfortable using major platforms
• Confident capturing photos/videos (smartphone or camera)
• Creative, dependable, and enthusiastic about community engagement
