    NAAAP New York is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), all-volunteer, Pan-Asian American professional organization that promotes the career advancement and leadership development of Asian American professionals in all fields through professional development, community service, and social events. We are the founding chapter of the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP), with a history dating back to 1982.

    About the role:

    The VP of Team Engagement is a senior director position on the NAAAP New York Executive Team. NAAAP New York is driven by volunteer effort and having a capable pool of leadership volunteers is critical to the success of operations and programming. The VP of Team Engagement is the point person to recruiting volunteers, recognizing skills and applicable staffing, team building and optimizing volunteer experience.

    As Vice President of Team Engagement, you will:

    ·Builds, maintains and leads volunteer committee

    ·Performs opportunity screenings, maintains outreach and serves as the main point of contact for volunteer inquiries

    ·Identify and track volunteer strengths/skills and optimize committee placement

    ·Collaborates with other committees to staff Programming and programs as necessary

    ·Collaborating with other committees to build and maintain a volunteer database

    ·Maintain volunteer engagement, recognition and moral

    ·Conduct periodic check-in with each team members to gauge volunteer fit and commitment

    ·Facilitate internal mobility when needed

    ·Report directly to President and EVP
