Event Volunteer - Brother Mike Awards Fundraiser

About The Role

Chicago Learning Exchange (CLX) is seeking a few enthusiastic volunteers to support the Brother Mike Awards on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 6–8 PM at City Winery West Loop. The Brother Mike Awards celebrate outstanding Chicago mentors who uplift and inspire young people across the city.

As an Event Volunteer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring a seamless and welcoming guest experience while helping CLX honor these incredible community leaders.

Volunteer Responsibilities

• Welcome and check in guests at registration
• Support paddle raise and other fundraising activities
• Assist with guest experience throughout the evening
• Help with event set up and tear down

Qualifications

• Friendly, welcoming demeanor
• Comfortable engaging with guests and event participants
• Reliability and punctuality

Time Commitment

• One evening: Thursday, September 18, 2025
• Volunteers are needed from 4:45-8:30 PM
