    Description

    Drive to Feed Hungry Neighbors!

**You must drive the MT van for this event, not your own personal vehicle.

For over 40 years, McKenna’s Wagon has operated as a mobile food service that distributes a warm meal to individuals who may be experiencing hunger or housing insecurity every day in Downtown DC. McKenna’s Wagon supports hundreds of individuals daily at two designated locations.

Volunteers are essential to this program, as they serve as the driver who transports the food in a Martha’s Table vehicle and as the helpers who assist with the distribution upon arrival to each stop. The driver not only serves as the person responsible for driving the van to each location, but also as the shift leader in the absence of a Martha’s Table staff member.

This is a distribution event that requires interaction with the community.
