HELP ORGANIZE RESIDENT ACTIVITIES at BOSS' homeless shelter in West Berkeley!
We are looking for volunteers to lead or organize many types of activities - whatever most interests you or aligns with your skills:
Building Opportunities for Self-Sufficiency (BOSS) is an East Bay nonprofit organization that is dedicated to fighting against mass homelessness, mass incarceration, and community violence. Volunteers would work at our largest homeless shelter, located in West Berkeley, called Ursula Sherman Village (USV). USV provides shelter, meals & amenities, and on-site services to up to 98 people a night - both single adults and families with children.
HOURS: Flexible! USV is a 24/7 program. Reach out and we can figure out what will work best!
REQUIREMENTS: Completion of volunteer paperwork; TB test.
