Description
At the English Learning Center (ELC), we strive to provide affordable English lessons to any adult in the Denver area willing to learn. Without the help of volunteers, we would not be able to accomplish our mission. We have five levels of students, based on their proficiency with the English language. Students are tested when they first start at the ELC.
We provide training and materials for the teachers to use in the class.
All volunteers must commit to at least one semester at the ELC.
- Lead teachers must be available at least two days a week.
- Assistant teachers must be available at least one day a week.
