Volunteer roles:

Job Search Ready- discusses hard and soft skills, and what steps come before starting the job search.

Job Applications- guides clients through the different ways to search and apply for jobs, how to complete an application, and common application questions.

The Interview- focuses on professional communication, networking, and challenging interview questions.

Keeping the Job - focuses on being an employee, common workplace policies, and how to navigate difficult situations in the workplace.

This is an in-person ONLY volunteer opportunity! Gain valuable experience and skills, connect with like minded people who care about making a positive impact in the community.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Highly motivated by Chrysalis’ mission and desire to improve social and economic
• fabric of our community
• Availability during our operating hours: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PT)
• Volunteer opportunities are regular and ongoing (not one-time or event-based)
• Proficient computer skills & comfortability with Google Drive and Outlook
• Minimum six-month commitment
• Ability to volunteer every other week for an hour at a minimum (weekly is also an option)
• Ability to report to a Chrysalis center
• 18 years or older
• Adherence to Chrysalis policies, procedures, and processes

Chrysalis Class Schedule:

DT- Monday- Thursday from 10:00AM to 11:30AM and 1:15PM to 2:45PM
