    Description

Help Us Clear the Way for 52 Homes

Join us on-site as we prepare the grounds for the Scriber Place Groundbreaking-a first-of-its-kind event in Snohomish County.

This project will bring 52 affordable housing units to life through an innovative partnership with the Edmonds School District. These homes will be dedicated to students and their families experiencing homelessness.

We’re looking for volunteers (ages 18+) to help make the site groundbreak-ready. Your time and energy will ensure the space is welcoming and safe for this milestone celebration.

    What You'll Do

    During the cleanup, volunteers will:

    • Pick up trash in and around the site
    • Clear walkways and gathering areas
    • Remove debris
    • Help with general site readiness and support

    Why It Matters

Every hour you spend helps us take one step closer to creating safe, stable homes for families in need. Preparing the site for this event not only supports the groundbreaking, but also shines a light on the importance of housing solutions for our community.

No special skills required-just come ready to work as a team and make a visible impact.

    What to Wear & Bring

To stay safe and comfortable, please come prepared with:

    • Clothes you don’t mind getting dirty
    • Sneakers or sturdy closed-toe shoes
    • Personal water bottle (we’ll also have bottled water on site)
    • Sunscreen (we’ll have extra available)

    We’ll provide:

    • Gloves and cleanup supplies
    • Snacks and bottled water

    Be Part of the Build

This is more than a site cleanup-it’s about building momentum toward housing stability for Edmonds School District families. Your work will help set the stage for an exciting day of hope and progress.
