    Technical Production Manager

    A New York City film festival seeks a production manager to assist the Festival Director in supervising the activities in organizing an annual two day film festival and pre-festival activities. Must have time and event management experience and be able to work in a fast paced environment. Experience with technical and video equipment is required including experience with running a projector. You will work closely with our Film Festival Coordinator to ensure that the festival's technical needs are met and serve as our liaison. You will assist in ensuring the festival meets the highest level of professional standards in presenting international films to the public.

    Individual must have excellent communication skills and be able to help lead a team of talented professionals in working to ensure our filmmakers and audience are pleased. Duties include working with organizing committees to ensure that production schedule is running smoothly, interaction with facilities and technical staff. You will report directly to Festival Director. Individuals with film and event management backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Please send resume and short cover letter.
