    Description

    Come interact with people from all over the world at Antelope Island State Park

    Fielding Garr Ranch- Volunteers will help to promote an appreciation for the history of the ranch. Volunteers will be involoved in a variety of activities. Leading guided tours, assisting with general ranch operations and maintenance, helping with special events and projects, and greeting guests.

    Trail Patrol- Volunteers will help promote appreciation for Antelope Island by helping maintain and build trails, educating others about the trails, park rules, and wildlife facts, etc.

    Visitor Center- Volunteers will help promote appreciation for the island, greeting visitors and answering questions, and educating visitors about park resources. Other customer service duties will also apply. There will also be opportunities to assist with educational programs and tours.

    Hours vary. Training will be provided.

    Antelope Island welcomes volunteers of all ages. Volunteers who are age 55 or above are invited to partner with the Davis County Retired and Senior Volunteer Program for placement at the Island. Benefits of volunteering through RSVP include:

    • Supplemental insurance while in service
    • Mileage reimbursement for travel to and from volunteer site (up to 300 miles per month)
    • Be recognized for your volunteering services during a recognition event that's held once a year
