    Description

    The Disaster Services - Community Preparedness Education Team Member helps to save lives and prevent injuries by providing free education to community members.

    As a team member you will educate individuals thru preparedness activities and help build partner relationships. Support Community Preparedness in your area by teaching the life-saving skill of Hands Only CPR, Be Red Cross Ready, our youth education programs such as Pillowcase Project (TPP) and Prepare with Pedro, and hurricane and other hazards preparedness topics delivered to small or large groups. Must be comfortable with learning our on-line delivery platforms and teaching in both in-person and virtual environments.

    Will provide on-line training and certification for you to teach these programs. Assignments include: presenter, presentation assistant, administrative support or presenter trainer.

    Public speaking, teaching, presentation, organizational, strong computer skills are all helpful for this position.
