    Description

Donate a building to a Nonprofit Providing Jobs & Housing to People in our Impoverished Communities

Join Us in Building a Future of Hope and Self-Sufficiency

Access to stable housing, living-wage employment, and comprehensive health and wellness support are fundamental to a dignified life. For countless women, men, and families living in poverty, these essentials remain out of reach-yet they continue to persevere, striving to transform their circumstances and grow.

Courageous Women Association (CWA) has launched a powerful initiative aimed at lifting approximately 50 individuals out of poverty and into full self-sufficiency. By addressing critical needs-housing, employment, and access to recovery and wellness services-we’re creating a pathway to lasting stability. And this is just the beginning. Each year, we plan to expand our reach, giving more people the opportunity to thrive and live with purpose.

We Need Your Help to Make This Vision a Reality

To carry out our mission, we urgently need a building donated to our nonprofit. This space will serve as a central hub for housing, job training, and vital resources-impacting hundreds of lives across the Bay Area’s underserved communities. If you or someone you know owns surplus property in the Bay Area, consider donating or selling it to CWA. Your contribution may qualify for significant tax incentives and other benefits.

For the past 16 years, CWA has worked tirelessly in Bay Area communities-distributing essential items, teaching career development, and delivering services directly to shelters and agencies that support survivors of homelessness, domestic violence, human trafficking, incarceration, and addiction. Now, we’re taking the next bold step to restore dignity and improve quality of life for even more individuals.

"Home is where the heart is." By donating a building to CWA, you’ll be placing the heart of hope and opportunity in the center of a community that needs it most.

CWA is honored to be recognized with the CBS 5 News Jefferson Award, a Congressional Certificate from Congresswoman Barbara Lee, and a Mayoral Proclamation from the City of Oakland.
