    Description

Are You Bilingual? Form a new connection!

Would you like to form a meaningful, new connection with someone in your community and help them feel less isolated? Do you speak another language other than English? Don't let your valuable skill go to waste.

Volunteer Solutions is a Partnership of Fairfax County's Family Services and Neighborhood & Community Services. Our volunteers help older adults, adults with disabilities and family caregivers.

We have needs for bilingual social visitors (in person or by phone), grocery shoppers, mealtime visitors, drivers to medical appointments and errands. We also need language instructors and bilingual social visitors at senior centers. Language needs vary.

Here's the current list of needs and where to sign up, bit.ly/bilingualVS

Even if there isn't an opportunity that fits at this moment, please consider registering regardless. Opportunities ebb and flow.

Thank you for your interest in helping others in your community. We look forward to welcoming you to Volunteer Solutions!
