For over 25 years Housing Works has been providing lifesaving services to New Yorkers living with and affected by HIV/AIDS and homelessness.
Housing Works' services include housing, mental and physical healthcare, job training, legal counseling, and advocacy - more than 30,000 homeless and low-income New Yorkers living with and affected by HIV/AIDS have been provided with a comprehensive array of services since 1990.
To help fund these efforts, Housing Works operates a variety of entrepreneurial businesses including our Housing Works Bookstore & Café.
We need volunteers to assist our staff process book donations throughout the months of May and June!
Does this sound like something you'd like to get involved with? Complete the form below to select a shift date and time that works for you and to receive additional information about the role.

The Housing Works Online Bookstore & Book Donation Center, located just one level down from the Bookstore on Crosby Street, has a massive inventory of books that we scan, pack and sell via our online partners to generate revenue and benefit the organization.
We have an urgent need for volunteers to assist us with unpacking boxes and scanning books into our system. This is a very simple, automated process. All participating volunteers are trained in this process on-site.
