Free Help with Taxes near Mobile, AL

Description
Low to moderate income families need to keep every penny they can for their family's needs. Volunteer Income Tax Assistance helps families file their taxes for free, so they can keep all of their refund for shelter, utilities, and other basic needs. You can make this happen for them by volunteering to train as a tax preparer. Tax prep sites will be open to the public in several locations in the Mobile area beginning late January and continuing through the tax season. You can be the reason hundreds of people receive thousands of dollars in refunds they can use to care for their families. Not good with taxes? You can still help as a site greeter. Train in the fall, help in the spring tax season.
