Volunteer Handyman (Light Home Maintenance)

My Neighbour’s Keeper is a faith-based nonprofit, our work rooted in the belief that no one should walk through life’s challenges alone. We offer holistic emotional, mental, and practical support to seniors and other individuals navigating isolation or loneliness, caregiving stress, illness, grief, disability, trauma, poverty, or reintegration into society.

We’re in need of compassionate individuals who will function at the heart of our mission to restore dignity and promote community resilience.

Help keep our clients safe and comfortable at home. As a Volunteer Handyman, you’ll assist with small household tasks: changing lightbulbs, fixing a loose handrail, decluttering, or basic yard work. Your practical support helps prevent accidents and increases independence.

Skills & Requirements:

Basic repair or handyman skills

Willingness to visit client homes

Respectful of boundaries and space

Police and vulnerable sector check required.
