    Concession volunteers are required to be TIPS certified to serve alcohol. Certification involves attending a training session and passing a written exam to confirm understanding of best practices for alcohol service.

    Description

    Become an Event Volunteer at TCAN (The Center for Arts in Natick)!

    Event Volunteers typically arrive an hour prior to the start time of the event and help prepare the performance space and concession area for guests. You may be asked to greet and seat our patrons as an usher, sell concessions, sell artist merchandise or assist with ticketing or will-call in our box office. Event staff stay for about 30-45 minutes following the show to help clean up the space and common areas, and ready the performance hall for the next show. An orientation and training session is required prior to starting.

    Live performances are generally scheduled on weekend evenings, Thursday - Saturday, with a showtime of 8:00pm. Volunteers are invited to attend the performance free of charge, but may be asked to provide service to patrons throughout the performance.
