Seeking Civil Engineer to Evolve Truly Passive Greenhouse Designs for Open Source Global Application

One Community is a nonprofit all-volunteer sustainability think tank. Our volunteer team fluctuates between 100-200 team members and has included over 1000 volunteers representing more than 60 different countries. We're building a civil engineering team to explore evolving these designs: https://www.onecommunityglobal.org/aquapinis-and-walipinis/ with these concepts: https://permies.com/w/greenhouse to create a radically-sustainable and diversely applicable solution to global food challenges.

CIVIL ENGINEER SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Solid FEA and modeling experience
• Access to SolidWorks or similar solid modeling software
• Access to AutoCAD and/or Revit
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Must be available for at least 2 months with at least 10 hours each week
• Excellent attention to detail
• Self-motivated and accountable in a virtual work environment
