    Do you enjoy helping others feel more confident with their money, make informed financial decisions, and build financial independence? Join Toastmasters for Seniors: Managing Your Money as a Financial Literacy Workshop Assistant Volunteer, and support older adults as they learn practical money management skills in a supportive, respectful, and engaging environment.

    This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in group facilitation, financial education, and community engagement while making a meaningful difference in the lives of senior learners.

    What You’ll Do:

    - Assist facilitators during financial literacy workshops

    - Help set up and support interactive activities such as budgeting exercises, group discussions, and scenario-based learning

    - Encourage participant engagement and create a positive, non-judgmental space for questions and sharing

    - Offer supportive guidance during exercises focused on saving, spending, and financial planning

    - Contribute to a welcoming learning environment where seniors feel empowered to take control of their finances

    Who We’re Looking For

    We welcome volunteers who are enthusiastic, dependable, and eager to learn! Ideal candidates will meet the following:

    ✔ Age between 12 - 30

    ✔ Passionate about volunteering and open to learning new skills

    ✔ Commitment to completing basic training

    ✔ Fluent in English

    ✔ Able to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check (if over 18)

    Bonus Skills

    ✔ Experience volunteering or working with older adults

    ✔ Fluency or strong proficiency in a language other than English
