    FoDACC Board Roles

Job Descriptions for 2025 Open Board Positions

Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control (FoDACC) is seeking compassionate, committed individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors. The following roles are currently open. All board members work collaboratively to support our mission of helping Detroit's animals and community, and most roles do not necessarily require a background in animal welfare. However, the final two roles listed would particularly benefit from animal rescue experience and familiarity with FoDACC.

We recognize that not every candidate will meet every qualification listed in the job description. If you are passionate about our mission and believe you have relevant skills or experience to contribute, we encourage you to apply. You may be a great fit for this role—or for another opportunity within our organization.
