    Description

    Healthy Home Basket

    Plan and purchase home health and hygiene supplies for families moving into a new home after experiencing homelessness. Able to raise or provide own funds to purchase supplies.

    DUTIES

    1. Collect funds for purchasing below supplies.
    2. Purchase supplies:
      • 1 laundry basket
      • 1 container laundry soap
      • 1 bottle dish soap
      • 4 bath towels and 4 wash cloths
      • Family size each of shampoo, conditioner and body soap/wash
    3. Optional supplies that could also be purchased: feminine hygiene products, products for African-American hair, deodorant
    4. Put all supplies into the one laundry basket.
    5. Call to arrange basket pick-up

    TRAINING: 15 minute orientation

    LOCATION: REMOTE = You may do this volunteer job anywhere!
