    Description

Thrift Store Volunteers - Upper Valley

Located in Lebanon, Canaan and WRJ. Being part of one of our thrift store teams can be very rewarding. The revenue you help generate in the thrift store goes directly into the community to help with warm meals at our dining hall, food for our food pantry, sending 200 children to summer camp, helping 300 families with holiday baskets, and providing fuel and electricity assistance to those in our community. Volunteering at Listen can also be a great resume builder for individuals looking to bridge a gap in employment. Any schedule is welcome, from a couple of hours a week, to a couple of days a month, come be a part of the LISTEN team. You’ll be amazed to see how fast items move from being donated, to the store, and out the door.

    Specific Tasks include

    • Move product to the store and place on appropriate racks/shelves
    • Move offseason donations between storage and the pricing room
    • Keep store as tidy as possible
    • Set-up for themed sales
    • Assist in opening and closing the store
