    Role Overview

    We are seeking a passionate and organized Volunteer Podcast Coordinator to support the production and publishing of our podcast episodes. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling, is detail-oriented, and wants to contribute to an impactful mission through audio content.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Production Support
      • Edit raw audio content: clean up conversation (remove "um," "you know," awkward pauses, etc.)
      • Level audio to ensure consistent sound quality across all speakers
      • Add music intros/outros and sound effects where necessary
    • Episode Coordination
      • Schedule and coordinate recordings with hosts and guests
      • Prepare episode briefs and outlines for hosts
      • Maintain podcast release calendar
    • Publishing & Promotion
      • Upload finalized episodes to podcast platforms (e.g. Spotify, Apple Podcasts)
      • Assist with drafting episode descriptions and show notes
      • Coordinate with the social media team to promote episodes
    • Quality Control
      • Perform a final quality check on each episode before release
      • Ensure all branding guidelines are followed in audio and show content

    Skills & Qualifications

    • Experience with audio editing tools (e.g. Audacity, Adobe Audition, GarageBand)
    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Basic understanding of podcast publishing platforms
    • An ear for storytelling and sound quality
    • Passion for the mission and commitment to inclusivity
