Want to make a difference in the life of a local student?
iC.A.R.E. Mentoring, a program of Red Oak Behavioral Health, matches caring adults to mentor one student, for one hour weekly for one school year. Our volunteers work with K-12 students in the Akron, Barberton, Cuyahoga Falls, and Tallmadge public schools. We support our volunteers with training, supplies, and an interactive workbook that covers important skills such as goal setting, resilience, and self confidence.
Why mentor?
Youth of all ages benefit from having a relationship with a caring and consistent adult role model.
