Webinar Assistant for Voice Your Choice

Voice Your Choice Volunteer: Voice Your Choice, a program of Nexus Montgomery, is a community-based program led by the Jewish Social Service Agency (JSSA) that promotes advance care planning through training, education, and public awareness. The volunteer will perform a variety of tasks to support Voice Your Choice webinars. This position helps to manage the audience interactions, such as the "chat box" and any technical issues that may arise during the webinar.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read attendee's questions that are typed in the chatbox and share with the presenter
• Launch polls during the webinar
• Type in SurveyMonkey links for attendees to complete the requested survey
• Start the recording of the webinar when needed
• Must present a professional appearance and a friendly manner
• Must be dependable and punctual
• Be courteous and personable when dealing with attendees
• Respect and maintain the confidentiality of Voice Your Choice content and webinar discussions
• Computer skills a must
• Knowledge of zoom platform a must

Time Commitment:

Attend ideally 9 webinars per month. The webinar schedule will be provided the prior month-times of webinar range from 30 to 70 minutes. Webinars are scheduled Monday-Thursday between 9AM - 2PM, some occasionally on Saturdays but less frequent. Must contact the Voice Your Choice staff four hours before the scheduled webinar, if you are unable to attend the scheduled webinar.
