Volunteer Prerequisites
Once contact information is received, a Gentiva Volunteer Coordinator will contact applicant by phone. A link will be sent to the provided email to initiate the background check and drug screening process. Once this process is started, a meeting will be scheduled to sign required documents. Training will also start at this time as well, and may take 2-3 meetings to complete, depending on the volunteer's schedule. Once training and screening is completed, the volunteer will be assigned a patient(s) to visit.
