Are you passionate about supporting the arts and making a difference in the music community? Decibel, a leading nonprofit concert presenter in New York City, is seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team as Fundraising and Development Volunteers.

Position: Fundraising and Development Volunteer

Location: Remote (with occasional meetings or events in New York City)

Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing and implementing fundraising strategies to support our mission and programs.
• Research and identify potential donors, sponsors, and grant opportunities aligned with our organization's goals.
• Help draft grant proposals, sponsorship packages, and fundraising campaigns.
• Support donor stewardship efforts, including thank-you letters, updates, and recognition initiatives.

Requirements:

• Passion for the arts and a commitment to supporting music education and cultural initiatives.
• Strong communication and writing skills for crafting compelling fundraising materials.
• Research skills to identify funding opportunities and potential partnerships.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the development team and other volunteers.
