    Description

    York West Active Living Centre (YWALC) is a community based resource Centre for people 55 years of age and older. YWALC has been serving the Weston community for over 40 years.

    We are looking for a volunteer who can teach Beginners English to a small Spanish-speaking class every Tuesday between 9:30 am and 10:30 am

    Skills required:

    • Fluent in Spanish and English (English class for Spanish speaking persons)
    • Enjoying working with older adults
    • Creative
    • Able to resource information
    • Punctual and reliable

    Teaching languages to older adults is an amazing experience who enrich your resume as well as your personal life. Our language classes are full of enthusiastic people and the environment is relaxed and fun. The classes are in person in the center (1901 Weston Road).

    We're inside the commercial mall in 1901 Weston road (north east corner of Weston and Lawrence Ave.). Once you enter, we're at the end of the hallway to the right.
