    Description

    Drivers needed! Help older adults get to appointments & run errands

    Do you have your own car? If you're willing to spare a few hours per month to drive an older adult in your community, you could make a big difference! Drivers are needed to help people get to routine doctors' appointments. Preventive check-ups and medical visits help reduce the number of ER visits that occur.

    It's flexible, often needed during weekdays when medical offices are open. You may also be asked if you're available to take someone to the pharmacy to pick up their medication. Drivers can also help on weekends with errands.

    There are unmet client needs in the Alexandria, Falls Church, Mclean, Annandale regions especially.
