    Enthusiasm for working with non-profit organizations. No radio experience needed but interest in public/community radio is a plus. Experience in managing social media. Knowledge of web page editing, preferably Bravenet or similar.

    Social Media and Web Content Manager

    KICI-LP Radio is an all-volunteer, non-profit low power radio station in Iowa City, Iowa. We have a modest social media and web presence but would like to expand and leverage to increase number of listeners and supporters. Right now KICI is on Facebook, YouTube and SoundCloud.

    Social Media

    • Communicating with radio producers to know needed announcements and create ideas for additional promotion.
    • Creating and scheduling regular social media posts about KICI programming updates, events and announcements.

    Optional

    • Monitor web analytics to determine posts' effectiveness.
    • Help determine most effective social media strategy

    Web Content Manager

    Work with KICI team to determine needed updates and relevant information

    Make content and layout updates to KICI's website

    Develop new web pages as needed

    Optional

    Derive and summarize web analytics for KICI's site

    Work with KICI to adjust and improve station's web site and internet presence.
