Volunteering with We've Got Friends!

The perfect volunteer for these positions needs no experience!

We are looking for people who are kind, patient, friendly and know how to be a little silly and have a great time! You will be hanging out with teens and preteens with special needs, playing games, listening to music, having dance parties and catching up on their day.

There is always site host who heads up the meetings so you would just be there to assist by hanging out with our participants. These hour long hangouts are participant led so we let the kids decide what they want to do and we help facilitate their fun activities.

For virtual hangouts, it's just a matter of logging on to zoom to hangout, catch up and make sure all the participants feel welcomed as we chat, and play games for an hour.

We even have a secret handshake that only our friends know. :) We'd love to have you be apart of our volunteer team! The little bit of time you spend with us makes a BIG difference.

• This opportunity is from 12:45-2p IN PERSON on Saturdays in Montclair , NJ: 13:00 to 14:00 EST
• This opportunity is from 2:15-4p IN PERSON on Saturdays in Montclair , NJ: 14:30 to 16:00 EST
• This opportunity is from 6-7p VIRTUALLY on Monday and Wednesdays (EXCLUDING SOME HOLIDAYS): 18:00 to 19:00 EST
