    Role Overview:

ICA is seeking a Social Media & Storytelling Volunteer to help create engaging, on-brand content across our platforms. This role is ideal for someone with experience in social media, digital content creation, or nonprofit communications who wants to help amplify ICA’s mission.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop creative, on-brand social media posts and captions for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
    • Collaborate with ICA staff and volunteers to highlight stories of impact, upcoming events, and fundraising campaigns
    • Assist in planning content calendars and scheduling posts
    • Monitor engagement and suggest ways to increase reach and interaction

    Qualifications:

    • Experience with social media content creation, copywriting, and/or digital marketing
    • Strong storytelling and writing skills
    • Knowledge of social media platforms and trends
    • Ability to work collaboratively and take direction
    • Passion for ICA’s mission and commitment to amplifying the voices of underserved youth locally and abroad

    Time Commitment:

    • Flexible, approximately 2 hours per week, with occasional heavier periods around major events or campaigns
    • Virtual, occasional in-person during our signature events
