    Description

    Village Synergy Uganda is seeking Volunteer Fundraisers to help mobilize resources that strengthen our community-driven projects in rural livelihoods, climate justice, girls’ empowerment, and public health across Northern Uganda.

    Responsibilities:

    • Identify and research potential donors, partners, and grant opportunities.
    • Assist in drafting fundraising proposals, concept notes, and campaign materials.
    • Support local and online fundraising events, membership drives, and donor engagement activities.
    • Contribute creative ideas for community-based fundraising initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate records of outreach and donor communications.

    Qualifications:

    • Passionate about community development, gender equality, and sustainability.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Experience in fundraising, marketing, or communications is an asset (not required).
    • Self-motivated and able to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

    Time Commitment: Flexible (5–10 hours per week).

    Location: Remote or based in Northern Uganda (Lira, Oyam, Gulu, or surrounding areas).
