Description
Have you ever wanted to stuff your home to the brim with cats, but were stopped by city bylaws, the price of cat food, or just plain old common sense? Well then, this is your chance to come and live vicariously through us! Miss Kitty's Cat House is seeking cat-loving people to come and be part of our house crew.
House crews come in during the morning and evening, 7 days a week, 365 days a year in order to make sure the cats' basic needs are met and that Mr. Mitzy hasn't tried to burn the place down again. You can have a regular shift, or just be a substitute to be called upon when coverage is needed. Our house usually has between 15 and 20 cats, and you will get to experience all the glory that comes with that - scooping litter boxes, cleaning hairballs off the floor, and hearing the thunder of 20 cats running when you when you open a can of cat food. Most importantly you get to build a rapport with cats that need love and support, and make some furry friends.
Regularly scheduled house crews have 2-3 shifts a month, and substitutes are asked to pick up at least one shift a month.If this sounds like something you would be interested in, and you're 18 or older, please get in touch with us! Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.
