Bethesda Community Clinic is a faith-based, charitable clinic providing primary medical care to the uninsured and under-insured residents of Cherokee and surrounding counties.
We need Medical Interpreter Volunteers available to provide the best possible care for our Spanish-speaking patients. Approximately 40% of our patients are Spanish-speaking and although we have access to the language line to assist our providers with patient care, there is a better connection and response between the provider and patient when we have Medical Interpreters onsite to provide in-person translation. Certification is preferred, however, not always necessary. Some training in HIPAA is necessary and can be provided upon request.
Our clinic hours are: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:30 - 12:30, Thursdays 8:30 -4:00, and the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9:00 - 12:00.
