    Description

Deliver Hope to Those Affected by Disaster: Disaster Action Team Member (Essex County)

Every day, disasters devastate families. As a Disaster Action Team volunteer, you can help comfort and support people who are forced from their homes due to fires, storms and other emergencies, so they don’t have to face tough times alone.

Every day, people are forced from their homes due to fires, storms or other disasters. Our Disaster Action Team volunteers respond day and night to meet the immediate needs of their neighbors. Our help may include financial assistance for food, clothing and lodging; emotional support; or replacing prescription medications and other critical items.

Training is free, but the hope you provide is priceless. Apply or learn more at www.redcross.org/volunteertoday.
