    Volunteer - Fundraising Chair - Seattle

    Are you interested in helping low-income youth get a college degree? Would you like to be part

    of an organization that gives thousands of dollars each year to deserving students who aspire to

    improve their lives and community?

    Join Education First and be a leader in your local community. For 20 years, Education First has

    been providing need-based college scholarships to underserved communities and has awarded

    Fundraising Chair Responsibilities:

    - Coordinating our annual fundraising campaign with the local chairs in Seattle

    - Educating volunteers on how to best fundraise

    - Writing appeal letters that create emotion and share real stories

    - Training volunteers on how to effectively use our tools to turn requests into donations

    This position has a time commitment varying between 0-5 hours per week and averages

    approximately 1-2 hours per week. This position is designed so it can be held by individuals with

    other commitments.
