    Description

Volunteer Opportunity: Tutors for Elementary and Junior High Students

“Empower Young Learners. Uplift a Family’s Journey.” The Well of Mercy is a transitional living program for homeless women and their children. Our mission is to provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment where families can rebuild their lives and work toward a sustainable future.

We are seeking consistent and reliable volunteer tutors to support school-aged children who live at the Well, ranging from early elementary to junior high.

    As a tutor, you will:

    • Help children with homework and school projects
    • Encourage strong study habits and a love of learning
    • Provide academic support in reading, math, and other subjects
    • Offer patience, encouragement, and positive role modeling

Your time and support will allow the moms in our program to focus on their own educational and career goals, knowing their children are receiving academic guidance and care. With your help, the children at the Well will gain the confidence and skills they need to thrive in school and beyond.

We currently need volunteers who can serve on weekdays after school and evenings. We are flexible with schedules and happy to work with your availability.

✨ Thank you for helping guide, encourage, and empower the children at the Well! ✨
