    Boo at the Zoo 2025

    On behalf of the Philadelphia Zoo, we’d like to invite you to volunteer at our annual Halloween event "Boo at the Zoo," where guests enjoy trick or treating in the Zoo. Approximately 40 volunteers per shift are needed to help with candy distribution and Halloween-themed crafts and games. We can accommodate groups of up to 30 volunteers. All volunteers receive free parking and admission for the day, and two tickets to return to the zoo as a guest on another date.

    New this year - Volunteer Costume Contest!

    Volunteers wearing costumes will be eligible to win a variety of prizes, up to and including giraffe feeding tickets and a behind-the-scenes experience at the Zoo! Volunteers who have RSVP’d for shifts will receive additional information in the upcoming weeks.
