    Once per week visits, between one and four hours, with one patient. Volunteers must commit to being an available volunteer for one year.

    Pet Therapy for Senior Citizens

    If you want to serve your community and you have a compassionate heart especially for those experiencing their last days, then Virginia Mason Franciscan Hospice and Palliative Care has a meaningful volunteer experience for you.

    Currently seeking volunteers with trained & licensed therapy dogs to do home visits with patients on Hospice in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. (Locations in Pierce, Kitsap, and King counties, WA state.)

    We will provide all of your hospice patient related training. You bring your pup!
