Childcare & Activity Host for LifeSkills Classes

We are seeking caring and enthusiastic volunteers to provide childcare and host engaging activities for children on our campus while their parents participate in our LifeSkills classes. This role offers a unique opportunity to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for children, giving parents the ability to focus fully on learning and personal growth.

Responsibilities:

·Supervise and engage with children in a safe and positive manner

·Plan and lead age-appropriate activities (games, crafts, reading, etc.)

·Foster a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere

·Maintain a safe environment by following agency guidelines and child safety protocols

·Communicate any needs or concerns to program staff

Qualifications:

·Enjoy working with children and families

·Reliable, responsible, and patient

·Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures

·Willingness to complete required background checks, fingerprinting, and TB test (provided by PCHAS at no cost)
